These 12V DC have 18 forward facing LED bulbs and two rows of 6 sided firing LEDs for a full and billiant illumination of any taillamp housing. The combination of forward and side firing LEDs provides bright light in over 270 degrees providing a significant improvement over LED bulbs with only forward facing bulbs. These bulbs can be used for a variety of lighting purposes and are ideal for applications requiring a wide lighting angle such as applications using a lamp housing that directs the light toward the lens, such as taillamp housings. For best results the LED color should be the same as the lens color. The LEDs in these bulbs appear clear when the bulb is not lit and BRIGHT WHITE when current is applied.

Please note that these are 1156 bulbs they will only operate in applications requiring a single contact on the base of the bulb. These single function bulbs are typically used for reverse lamps and other lighting purposes where dual function is not required.
